PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State soccer added Gig Harbor, Wash., native Jazmin Jones, Cougar Head Coach Steve Nugent announced, Thursday.
Jones is a defender who has played two seasons at Florida International. She will begin her Washington State career in the fall.
“We are excited to have a player of Jazmin’s caliber,” Cougar Head Coach Steve Nugent said. “She was an impactful player at FlU and we welcome her home. She will bolster the backline which traditionally has been a strength of our program.”
Jones played in all 19 matches for Florida International in 2013, including nine starts. She notched her first-career point with an assist while logging 1,358 minutes. As a freshman in 2012, she played in 17 of the team’s 21 matches, including nine starts, and saw 1,163 minutes of action.
