Alcohol Policy

Possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited, except in Hollingbery Fieldhouse, corporate tents and the indoor club and suites. Consumption and/or possession of alcohol contributes to unruly or dangerous behavior. Violators will be removed from the stadium.


Service animals or those in training for guests with disabilities are allowed in the facility. All other animals are prohibited.

ATM Locations

An ATM is located in front of the WSU Athletic Ticket office, in the center of both the North and South concourses, in Hollingbery Fieldhouse, and in the Greg Rankich Club Room.

Baby Changing Station

Baby changing stations can be found in men's and women's restrooms on the north and south concourses.

Bags, Containers and Coolers

Bags, containers, and coolers must be small enough to fit completely under one seat, and must be so kept at all times to maintain clear aisles, walkways, and stairs. Hard-sided bags, suitcases, coolers, or other similar devises are prohibited.


The Cougar Marching Band is a select group of more than 250 musicians who perform at all home football games. The band also accompanies the football team to other Pac-12 universities and to bowl games. Most recently, the Cougar Marching Band accompanied the football team to the 1998 Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, the 2001 Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas, the 2002 Seahawk Stadium opening game, and a return to the Rose Bowl in 2003. Banners and Signs

Handheld banners are permitted if they are in good taste, contain no profanity or derogatory statements, and do not block the view of other patrons.

Beverage Containers

Glass and metal beverage containers and bota bags are prohibited. This rule does not apply to personal canteens or thermos bottles, one liter or less in size. Glass and metal containers can shatter or break, which can result in sharp edges and/or pieces, or become dangerous projectiles, threatening the safety of spectators, participants and officials.

The Bookie

The Students Book Corporation, The Bookie, will be open on football Saturdays 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Sunday 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The Bookie is located in the Compton Union Building in the northwest corner on the first and ground floors. Handheld photography cameras for personal use are allowed at all WSU athletic facilities. Videotaping equipment is not allowed in the stadium without written permission from the WSU Athletic Department. To obtain permission, patrons should call the Athletic Department 509-335-6216.

Code of Conduct

It is the goal of the WSU Public Safety Department and Athletics Event Management to provide a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment for all participants and fans. Safety and security policies have been established to benefit everyone entering Martin Stadium. Please help us maintain a FUN and SAFE environment for players, students, families, and all patrons by complying with all stadium policies. WSU, along with the NCAA and Pac-12 Conference, has assigned a high priority to assuring athletic events are conducted in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere that promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches, and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial, sexist, or other abusive comments or actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches, team representatives, or other stadium patrons will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition.

Compton Union Building

Drones and Radio-Controlled Aerial Cameras

FAA and Pac-12 Conference policies prohibit the use of aerial drones, helicopters and any other remote-controlled flying devices in or around Martin Stadium or any other WSU athletic facilities at any time.

Disabled Guests

Seating for those who are physically impaired is available at Sections 5, 10, 22, 26, 27 and the East end zone. All seating for physically impaired patrons is sold on a RESERVED TICKET BASIS ONLY. If a patron has not ordered special tickets in advance, the ticket office will exchange their tickets if space is available. Physically impaired patrons are encouraged to notify the ticket office in advance for special seating accommodations at 1-800-GOCOUGS. Disabled patrons with proper vehicle identification may park on a space-available basis in WSU parking lots on game day. Look for lots displaying the international disability logo. Drinking Fountains

Drinking fountains can be found on the North and East concourses.

Emergencies and Evacuation Procedures

Evacuation routes will be determined by Public Safety Personnel (Police, Fire, and Event Management). Please remain calm and follow the directions of the Public Address Announcer and the nearest Event Management personnel.

Emergency Phone Calls

For any emergency occurring on campus, dial 911 for ambulance, police or fire service. If you are calling from a non-campus phone, dial 509-335-0911.

Entry Search

Management must rely on communication with and cooperation of the spectator. A visual inspection will be made at the gate. This is a voluntary search. Patrons will be asked to open bags, purses, etc. If there is reasonable suspicion that a patron possesses banned items and he/she does not consent to a search, he/she may be denied entry.

Exit and Re-Entry

Exit and re-entry is discouraged until after the first quarter when the gates are clear. If patrons leave the stadium for any reason during the course of the game, they must have their ticket scanned before exiting and also when re-entering the stadium. Students must get a stamp at Gate I before leaving the stadium.

First Aid

First Aid people (EMTs and Paramedics) are located throughout the stadium and Fieldhouse and wear yellow vests with identifying symbols. The First Aid rooms are located on the South concourse near Gate F and on the North concourse under section 27. All stations will open two hours prior to the scheduled game times and close approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the game. Transport time to the local hospital is approximately 10 minutes.


Gates will open two hours prior to scheduled game times. Tickets are honored at the following gates:

Guest Services

There are now five guest service locations throughout Martin Stadium. Four of these guest service stations are pregame only and will open three hours prior to kickoff and close five minutes after kickoff. These guest service booths are located outside of Gate A, On North end of the Student Plaza by Cougar Way, outside of Gate I, and outside of the Premium Seating Entrance. The fifth guest service station is located inside of Gate F on the south concourse and will open two hours prior to kickoff and will remain open until 30 minutes postgame.

Hollingbery Fieldhouse - Food Fair

Join the party at the Hollingbery Fieldhouse before each game. Get a jump on traffic by coming to campus early and enjoying a meal with a few hundred of your closest Cougar friends. The Food Fair begins three hours prior to scheduled game times. Hollingbery Fieldhouse is located north of Martin Stadium.

Lost Children

Please report lost children to the nearest usher or ticket taker. A public announcement may be made in the case of an emergency.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found items can be turned in and/or claimed at the Guest Services locations. Articles may also be picked up in Bohler 130 after the Guest Services locations close. Please call 509-335-4304 for further information.


Official game day merchandise is available pre-game in Hollingbery Fieldhouse, at two gameday Bookie locations (outside of Gate A and on the South concourse) and at Rankich Club in Martin Stadium.


Artificial noisemaking devices are prohibited. In addition to confiscation, violators may be subject to university disciplinary action (if applicable) and removal from the event site.

Outside Food & Drinks

Food from outside vendors is not permitted in Martin Stadium. However, food brought from home in a soft-sided bag is allowed. Outside drinks are not permitted, with the exception of a thermos that is one liter or less in size.

Park and Ride

Pullman Transit is teaming up with WSU Athletics to provide free Park and Ride service on home football game days. All Park and Ride busses drop off near Martin Stadium. After the game, all transit pick-up locations will begin on the closed portion of Stadium Way by the east end zone of Martin Stadium. For more information please visit WSU Gameday Transit.

Parking and Transportation

Season parking passes are available to Cougar Athletic Foundation donors through the Cougar Athletic Foundation Office (1-877-IMACOUG). General parking is available on the east side of campus. For maps and information regarding game day parking, visit the Gameday Parking Website.


Programs are available for purchase at the kiosks on the North and South concourses as well as at various other locations throughout Martin Stadium. Sales will begin two hours prior to scheduled game times and end at the conclusion of the second quarter.

Prohibited Items/Safety Policies

The following policies have been developed with spectator and participant safety in mind. Failure to abide by the following policies may result in ejection and/or legal proceedings.

  •  Non-service animals
  •  Alcohol
  •  Bicycles
  •  Glass or metal containers. This rule does not apply to personal canteens or thermos bottles (one liter in size or less).
  •  Bota bags
  •  Flag poles (anything that acts as an extension of your arm, that has a flag affixed to it, is prohibited)
  •  Hard-sided bags, suitcases, coolers, or other similar devices
  •  Large bags (all soft-sided bags must be able to fit under your seat)
  •  Artificial noisemakers (horns, whistles, etc.)
  •  Tobacco products. Smoking is not allowed in Martin Stadium
  •  Fireworks/weapons
  •  Umbrellas (May not be opened inside the stadium, but are allowed in the stadium as a courtesy for fans walking to the game)
  •  Strollers are not allowed in the seating areas, they may be left on the concourses at the risk of the owner.
  •  Video recording devices (without written permission from WSU Athletics - to obtain permission, please call 509-335-6216)
  •  Selfie Sticks
Safety Policies

Our staff will proactively intervene to support an environment where guests can enjoy the Cougar Football experience free from unacceptable behavior, including the following:

  •  No Smoking in the seating areas of Martin Stadium
  •  No Throwing of Objects
  •  No unruly or disruptive behavior
  •  No Foul/abusive language or obscene gestures
  •  Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption

Any guest not adhering to the above code or behaving in an unruly manner will be removed from Martin Stadium. Crowd management staff reserves the right to determine what unruly or unacceptable behavior is.

If anyone is interfering with your enjoyment of our event, please contact the nearest usher or ticket taker for assistance.

If you observe any maintenance, housekeeping, medical or security concerns, please text "WSU" and your seat location to 6-9050 and a member of our staff will arrive to assist you.


Restrooms are located throughout the North, South, and East concourses.

RV Parking

RV parking passes for the South Beasley parking lot (Region #1) will be issued through the Cougar Athletic Fund (CAF). You must be a season ticket holder and a member of the CAF at $500 or more to qualify for a possible spot. All spots are sold on a season pass basis. For more information please visit the RV Website. All other RV regions on campus are pre-sold online. RV parking may not be available on a game-by-game basis, so make sure you have your RV permit before coming to campus. A complimentary shuttle service, provided by the Coug Guys & Gals, is available for fans needing assistance. Shuttles begin three hours prior to scheduled game times and continue until kick off. Shuttles resume their routes for one hour following games. Shuttles will stop at designated areas approximately every 20 minutes and take fans to Martin Stadium or Hollingbery Fieldhouse. For more information on game day shuttles, please call 1-877-IMACOUG (462-2684). Airport shuttles will also be provided. Advance airport shuttle requests can be made by calling 1-877-IMACOUG (462-2684) no later than 4 p.m. on the Friday before the game.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted in Martin Stadium.


Strollers will not be permitted in the stadium seating areas. All strollers, including umbrella strollers, must be left in the concourse area of Martin Stadium at the risk of the owner.

Ticket Replacement Policy

Tickets that are lost, stolen, or left at home can be replaced at a cost of $5.00 per reprinted ticket.

  •  Tickets will be replaced ONLY for the original purchaser, NO EXCEPTIONS.
  •  Replacement tickets take precedence over the original tickets.
  •  The WSU Ticket Office reserves the right to revoke all ticket privileges in case of fraud.
  •  Reprints are not available for student tickets.
  •  ONLY tickets purchased or received from the WSU Athletic Ticket Office or its authorized agencies are guaranteed to be valid. The ticket office DOES NOT guarantee tickets purchased or received from a third party.
Ticket Refund Policy

Scheduled game times are tentative until the week of the game. There is a no refund, exchange, or cancellation policy on tickets. This includes game time changes because of television.

Ticket Problems-Game Day

The WSU Athletic Ticket Office is located adjacent to Gate B in the east end of Martin Stadium next to the Cougar Pride statue. The office opens three hours prior to scheduled game times and closes at the end of halftime. Assistance with any gameday ticket problems can be addressed by visiting the WSU Athletic Ticket Office in person. If a problem arises after you have entered the stadium, please contact the nearest usher. If they are unable to resolve the problem, please contact the Ticket Office.

Purchasing Tickets on Game Day

Reserved tickets go on sale at Gate G three hours prior to scheduled game times. Student and student guest tickets can be purchased at Gate A beginning two hours prior to scheduled game times if tickets are available. To avoid lines on game day, purchase your tickets in advance at or by calling 1-800-GO-COUGS (Monday - Friday; 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).


Personal-sized umbrellas shall be allowed into Martin Stadium as the personal property of the owner. In order to preserve visibility of the game for all spectators, such devices may not be opened or raised in the stadium.
