Webster Groves (Missouri) High, 1981 - Earned all-conference and all-district honors in both football and baseball...football team won State 4-A championship junior season...won team's leadership award as a senior.

COLLEGE

Missouri Western State College, 1986 - Received bachelor of science in health, physical education and recreation...four-year defensive back...1985 All-America selection...also earned first team all conference and all-district honors...second on the MWS all-time interception list.

University of Akron, 1990 - Received master's degree in physical education.

COACHING EXPERIENCE

Missouri Western State University, 1986 - Joined MWS staff in the spring as a student assistant...duties included winter conditioning...also assisted with on-campus recruiting.

Northeast Missouri State University, 1986-87 - Assistant coach and defensive secondary for head coach Jack Ball...coordinated winter conditioning program and aided in spring football recruiting.

University of Akron, 1987-88 - Graduate assistant, coaching defensive backs and special teams for head coach Gery Faust...responsible for both winter conditioning and recruiting.

Washington State University, 1989 - Joined Mike Price's staff as a graduate assistant, working with cornerbacks...defensive coordinator for junior varsity team.

Coffeyville Community College, 1990-94 - Secondary coach for head coach Skip Foster.

Western Oregon State College, 1995-96 - Assistant head coach for head coach Blaine Bennett...coached defensive backs and was responsible for game-day coaching and coordinating all video activities...also taught in the physical education department.

Missouri Western State University, 1997-98 - Defensive coordinator for head coach Jerry Partridge...also linebacker coach...his 1998 Giffon defense picked off 12 passes, knocked down 30 passes and made 63 tackles for losses;

Idaho State University, 1999 - Defensive coordinator for head coach Larry Lewis (former WSU assistant coach)...also coached linebackers.
