Earned a varsity letter after starting all 12 of WSU's games at safety...was second on the team and ninth in the Pac-10 in tackles with 81 (50 solo)...four tackles for loss...led the Cougars with three interceptions...also led the team in pass break-ups with 4...hurried the quarterback once, forced two fumbles, and recovered one fumble...had season-high 14 tackles against California...registered 12 tackles each against Notre Dame and Arizona...forced both fumbles and had fumble recovery against Hawaii...awarded WSU's weekly Big Hit Award against California and Oregon State...his interception against Oregon State was given the WSU's weekly Big Play Award...received All-Pac-10 honorable mention honors...finished his career with 220 tackles, 7.5 tackles-for-loss, and six interceptions.
RS-JUNIOR (2008): Earned a varsity letter after starting each of WSU's final 10 games...for the season had 78 tackles (46 solo) to go with one tackle-for-loss, two interceptions and five pass break-ups...his tackles total were second on the team...three times named WSU Defensive Player of the Week, following Portland State, Oregon and Oregon State...also received team's Big Hit award after Portland State...had Cougar season-high 14 tackles against Oregon (eight solo)...two other times recorded double-digit tackles: at Stanford (10) and against Washington (10) in the Apple Cup...only TFL on season came in Apple Cup, a three-yard loss...two interceptions came at Oregon State.
RS-SOPHOMORE (2007): Earned a varsity letter after playing in each of the Cougars' 12 games...received his first career start against Arizona State with an injury to Alfonso Jackson and then started both the UCLA and California games with Jackson out once again...received the team's weekly Cougar Claw Special Teams Award following his performances against Idaho and Arizona State...received the team's weekly Cougar Claw Defense Award following performance against Arizona State...also received the team's weekly Hammer Award following performance against UCLA...registered 53 tackles on the season (27 solo), including 2.5 tackles-for-loss...recorded his first career interception against California...also had three pass break-ups...recorded 17 tackles (10 solo) in his first career start against the Sun Devils...also blocked a PAT against Arizona State...had a second double-digit tackle game against California (10), including 2.5 tackles-for-loss.
