PULLMAN, Wash. - A pair of Washington State University's away football games next fall have been added to FOX Sports Net's evening lineup of Pacific-10 Conference football games, according to Cougar Athletic Director Rick Dickson.
WSU will play before national television audiences at least three times during the 1999 gridiron season, including night games on the Fox network at Stanford and at Oregon. WSU also is slated for an ABC Sports appearance at home Nov. 13 against the Southern California Trojans.
WSU's game at Stanford Sept. 11 in the second contest of the season will kick off at 7:15 p.m., while the Nov. 6 contest at Oregon is slated for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
While ABC Sports, ESPN and FOX Sports Net have selected a total of 22 Pac-10 games, many of their mid-day time slots will not be filled until after the season begins in late August.
