Cougars to Host Coaching Clinic in Spokane, April 15-16

PULLMAN, Wash. - Head Coach Paul Wulff and the Washington State University football staff will host a coaching clinic, April 15-16, at the Red Lion Hotel At The Park in Spokane.

The featured guest speakers at the event include former Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach along with current Contra Costa College Head Coach Alonzo Carter.

Clinic director Travis Niekamp said the clinic is tailored to high school coaches throughout the Pacific Northwest. Spread across two days, Friday evening's session will include Coach Wulff's overall philosophy to coaching, along with discussions from offensive coordinator Todd Sturdy and assistant head coach/defensive coordinator Chris Ball. Additionally, there will be position breakout sessions with the Cougar coaching staff Friday evening.

Saturday morning will include a section with WSU Special Team Coach Dave Ungerer and a weight lifting session with Cougar Head Football Strength Coach Darin Lovat. That will be followed by comments from Leach and Carter.
