COUGAR VOLLEYBALL LOOKING FOR IN-STATE WINS: The Washington State volleyball team (16-10 overall, 5-10 Pac-10) hosts its final non-conference match of the season Tuesday, Nov. 17, when Eastern Washington Eagles (17-9) come to Pullman...Cougars then head across the Cascade Mountain Range to Seattle to take on the Pac-10 leaders, No. 4 Washington (21-4, 11-4) in a 7 p.m. contest Saturday, Nov. 21, at Bank of America Arena...Dawgs will be looking to avenge the 3-1 loss the Cougars handed them Oct. 23 in Pullman...this match is the Fox Sports Net Pac-10 Match of the Week and will be televised, tape-delayed, nationwide (check local listings for day and time)...Paul Sunderland and Karch Kiraly are the announcers for the broadcast...the UW match will be broadcast on KQQQ 1150 AM and on the internet via subscription on Cougars All-Access.

COUGAR COACHING STAFF: Head Coach Andrew Palileo is in his second season at WSU after a highly successful tenure at South Dakota State...Palileo has a 26-29 overall record at WSU, and a 13-year career record of 265-170...associate head coach Brian Lamppa and assistant coach TeAna Tramel complete the coaching staff...Kara Kiefer is the coordinator of operations.

AVCA TOP 25 POLL: Washington State dropped out of the top 25 in the Nov. 16 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Div. I Coaches Top 25 Poll...Pac-10 schools ranked this week include No. 4 Washington, No. 6 Stanford, No. 7 UCLA, No. 11 California, No. 15 UCS, No. 18 Oregon, and No. 19 Arizona...also receiving votes in this week's poll is Washington State (29th)...defending national champion Penn State is ranked No. 1...for the weekly poll, go to www.avca.org.
