COUGAR VOLLEYBALL PLANNING A WHITE-OUT: The No. 24 Washington State volleyball team (16-6, 5-6), coming off a pair of conference losses in the desert looks to jump back into the win column with home matches against No. 13 California (13-8, 6-5) Friday, Nov. 6, and No. 5 Stanford (15-6, 8-3) Saturday, Nov. 7...both matches begin at 7 p.m. in Bohler Gym...both matches will be webcast online live on Cougar All-Access.

FREE T-SHIRTS FOR WHITEOUT BOHLER THIS WEEKEND: All fans are encouraged to wear white shirts to both matches in Bohler this weekend...the first 250 fans reporting to the contest area inside Bohler Gym each night will receive a white Cougar Volleyball t-shirt...the first 1000 fans to the contest area wearing a white shirt will receive a Cougar rally towel.

COUGAR COACHING STAFF: Head Coach Andrew Palileo is in his second season at WSU after a highly successful tenure at South Dakota State...Palileo has a 26-25 overall record at WSU, and a 13-year career record of 265-166...associate head coach Brian Lamppa and assistant coach TeAna Tramel complete the coaching staff...Kara Kiefer is the coordinator of operations.

AVCA TOP 25 POLL: Washington State dropped to 24th in the Nov. 2 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Div. I Coaches Top 25 Poll...Pac-10 schools ranked this week include No. 4 Washington, t-No. 5 Stanford, No. 7 UCLA, No. 13 California, No. 14 Oregon, No. 17 USC, and No. 18 Arizona...also receiving votes in this week's poll is Oregon State (33rd)...defending national champion Penn State is ranked No. 1...for the weekly poll, go to www.avca.org.

COUGARS 38TH IN LATEST NCAA VOLLEYBALL RPI: In the NCAA Ratings Performance Index (RPI) for matches through Nov. 1, Washington State is ranked 38th...among Pac-10 schools listed in the top 40 are: Washington 5th, UCLA 7th, Stanford 9th, California 11th, Arizona 13th, Oregon 15th, and USC 33rd...Texas has the No. 1 ranking...RPI comes from a combination of a team's winning percentage, its opponents' winning percentages, and it's opponents' opponents' winning percentages, with home and road contests figured into the formula.
