Browner Finishes Tied at 68th at NCAA West Regional

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Washington State golfer Tasha Browner shot a final round 82 to finish in a six-way tie for 68th at the NCAA West Regional played at the Trysting Tree Golf Club at Corvallis.

Browner, a junior from Tarzana, Calif., made her second straight postseason appearance in the West Regional. She shot 83-76-82 for a 241 stroke total, 25 above par. Last year Browner finished 113th.

Arizona's Natalie Gulbis and Lorena Ochoa finished one-two and gave the Wildcats the team title. Gulbis shot 207 while Ochoa came in at 210.

Arizona out-distanced second-place Stanford by 20 strokes, 868-888. Michigan State was third at 901 followed by UCLA with 903.
