The Washington State women’s golf team travels to Stanford, Calif. for the Stanford Intercollegiate Oct. 25-27…tournament hosted by Stanford alumna, Condoleezza Rice…tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.
The tournament will be played at the Stanford Univeristy Golf Course, a par-71, 6,130-yard course…the course has played host to Pac-10 Championship, NCAA Regional, NCAA Women’s Championship, USGA Junior Amateur Qualifying, and U.S. Open Qualifying.
Joining Washington State in the tournament field will be some of the nation’s best including No. 1 UCLA, No. 2 USC, No. 3 Stanford, No. 5 Washington, No. 8 Pepperdine, No. 12 Vanderbilt, No. 18 Kentucky, No. 23 Northwestern, No. 24 Auburn, No. 25 California, No. 30 Oregon, No. 36 Georgia, No. 42 UC Davis, Oregon State, and San Jose State.
REPRESENTING WASHINGTON STATE
Competing for the Cougar women will be junior Lindsay Harmon, senior Mallory Kent, freshman Cherokee Kim, sophomore Rachel Lewis, junior Kristen Rue, and sophomore Nani Yanagi.
