The Washington State women’s golf team heads to the west side of the state to compete in the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational Oct. 8-9th…31st annual tournament will be hosted by Washington…tee times begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tournament will be held at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington…track will play at par 72 and 6,039 yards for the women’s tournament…Sahalee has played host to many prestigious tournaments, most recently the 2010 U.S. Senior Open.
Joining Washington State in the tournament field will be Stanford, UC Davis, California, Oregon, Colorado (RV), San Jose State, UCF, Columbia, Gonzaga, Long Beach State, San Francisco and Washington.
REPRESENTING WASHINGTON STATE
Competing for the Cougar women will be junior Lindsay Harmon, senior Mallory Kent, freshman Cherokee Kim, sophomore Rachel Lewis, junior Kristen Rue, and sophomore Nani Yanagi.
HEAD COACH KELLI KAMIMURA SAYS
“We are excited to get back on the road this week,” said Head Coach Kelli Kamimura. “We had a couple of great practices this during our time at home and have focused on playing one shot at a time. We look forward to a great tournament.”
