PULLMAN, Wash. – Nearly 100 boys and girls between the ages of six and 14 were on hand for Washington State University men’s basketball first-year head coach, Ernie Kent’s, inaugural Day Camp, which ran from June 16 through June 19, 2014, on the Pullman campus.

Kent and the men’s basketball staff and student-athletes spent four days, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., teaching the campers basic basketball skills, introducing them to drills and competitions and playing games. One of the highlights which Coach Kent discusses further in the attached video was the one-minute drill, where teams had the opportunity to play out end-of-the-game scenarios while being as loud as possible.

This year marked the first camp of the Ernie Kent Era of WSU men’s basketball, as he brought with him his excitement and passion for the game, along with his strong basketball knowledge developed in over 25 years of coaching.
