PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University's track and field programs will have a strong presence at the 2014 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Preliminary Round, Thur.-Sat., May 29-31, at John McDonnell Field on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville.

The Cougars will be represented by 15 men competing in 11 events and 13 women competing in 10 events. The top 48 declared athletes in each event at the NCAA Championship Preliminary Rounds will be vying for the top 12 spots which will advance to the NCAA Championships, June 11-14, at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

Below is a list of Cougars who will compete at the 2014 NCAA Championships Preliminary Round in Fayetteville:

800m – Abby Regan (11th); Courtney Zalud (17th)

1500m – Ruby Roberts (9th)

100m Hurdles – Shaquana Logan (32nd)

400m Hurdles – Erin Allen (33rd)

4x100m Relay – Dominique Keel, Shaquana Logan, Christiana Ekelem, Candice McFarland, Brianna Watley (18th)

Javelin – Celena Ward (21st), Kelsie Taylor (46th)

High Jump – Charlotte Muschamp (5th)

Triple Jump – Charlotte Muschamp (11th)

Pole Vault - Kristine Felix (19th)
