Pac-12 T&F Multis Champs This Weekend in Pullman

The Pac-12 Conference Track & Field Combined-Events Championships are Sat. and Sun., May 10 & 11, at WSU’s Mooberry Track...Cougars Spencer Wordell and Dino Dodig will compete in the decathlon while Alissa Brooks-Johnson will compete in the heptathlon (info on page 2)...events begin at Noon Saturday and at 11 a.m. Sunday...Live Results can be viewed at www.pac-12.org...there is no charge for admission May 10-11...the Pac-12 T&F Championships continue May 17-18...all tickets are general admission and can be purchased online at wsucougars.com...prices are: 2-Day Pass - Adult $15, Youth (ages 2-17) $8, Seniors (60 & up) $8, WSU Student $5...1-Day Pass - Adult $10, Youth (ages 2-17) $5, Seniors (60 & up) $5, WSU Student $3.
VANDAL JAMBOREE/GRADUATION WEEKEND
A Washington State contingent of 22 men and 23 women are scheduled to compete at the University of Idaho Vandal Jamboree, at the Dan O’Brien Track & Field Complex in Moscow, May 9-10...results will be posted at www.wsucougars.com at the completion of the meet...May 10 is commencement day at Washington State so several Cougar track and field student-athletes will be receiving their degrees in the three ceremonies at Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum.
ABOUT THE COUGAR COACHES
Head coach Rick Sloan is in his 41st season with the Cougar track program; 20th year as a head coach, 19th year as mentor to the combined men’s and women’s program...Sloan (decathlon/heptathlon) is joined by associate coach Debra Farwell (throws) and assistant coaches Mark Macdonald (hurdles/relays), Ellannee Richardson (sprints/relays), Matt McGee (jumps) and cross country coach Tim Riley (distance)…volunteers include Caroline Austin (distance), Veronica Elseroad-Wall (hurdles), Oliver Henry (throws), and Emma Kertesz (distance).
WSU HOSTS 2014 PAC-12 TRACK & FIELD OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
Washington State University hosts the 29th Annual Women’s and 84th Annual Men’s Pac-12 Conference Track and Field Championships at the Mooberry Track Complex in Pullman. The Combined Events Championships are Saturday and Sunday, May 10 and 11, while the individual events and team scoring continues the next weekend, May 17 and 18. More information about the conference meet can be found at wsucougars.com and tickets may be purchased online. The Pac-12 Networks will air the meet on a tape-delayed basis the following week.
