The Washington State University men’s golf team travels to Iowa City, Iowa to compete in The Hawkeye-Great River Entertainment Invitational hosted by the University of Iowa, April 12-13.
The tournament will take place on the 7,239-yard Finkbine Golf Course and play at par-72. The tournament will span two days and features 54 holes of play beginning Saturday at 9 a.m. CDT (7 a.m. PDT). Competing teams will play two rounds Saturday in a shotgun format. The tournament concludes Sunday with the final round of play at 9 a.m. CDT in a shotgun format.
Joining host school Iowa will be Denver, DePaul, Iowa State, Kansas, Marquette, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northern Illinois, Washington State, and Wisconsin.
REPRESENTING WASHINGTON STATE
Competing for the Cougar men will be junior Michael Anderson, senior Kent Hagen, freshman Nick Mandell, junior Charlie Mroz, and senior Blake Snyder.

"This is a different lineup than we have travelled this spring. We have had a great week of practice at home and are excited to be travelling to Iowa to compete. This is always a great tournament on a challenging golf course. I am excited to see how we compete."
