PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State senior forward Hana Potter has been selected to be a part of the Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Association’s “So You Want To Be A Coach” program, the organization announced Thursday.

Potter, who is set to graduate this spring, will take part in the program at the WBCA National Convention during the Final Four Weekend April 4-6 in Nashville, Tenn.

The WBCA's "So You Want To Be A Coach" program assists female collegiate basketball players who are interested in pursuing a career in coaching women's basketball with professional development and career advancement through education, skills enhancement, networking and exposure opportunities while increasing awareness regarding the availability of talented female basketball players who want to coach.

The program is a collaborative effort between the WBCA and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to provide female student-athletes with an experience that becomes the foundation of a successful coaching career. The WBCA has assembled a group of experienced coaches and administrators who will serve as resources to share their knowledge, as well as provide networking opportunities which will help secure a coaching position.

The program will be held Friday, April 4 - Sunday, April 6, 2014 during the WBCA National Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.
