COUGARS TRACK & FIELD CROSSES BORDER FOR PAIR OF IDAHO MEETS
The Washington State University indoor track and field teams travel eight miles east this weekend for a pair of meets at the University of Idaho Kibbie-ASUI Activity Center...WSU will enter 34 men and 23 women into events at the 38th Annual Vandal Indoor, Friday, Feb. 7...men’s and women’s indoor dicus events begin at 11:30 a.m. and other field events beginning at 4:30 p.m....running events start at 5 p.m...nearly 50 Cougars will be competing Sat., Feb. 8, at the Vandal Open which begins at 8 a.m...complete results will be posted at www.wsucougars.com when available following the
completion of each meet.

ABOUT  THE COUGAR COACHES
Head coach Rick Sloan is in his 41st season with the Cougar track program; 20th year as a head coach, 19th year as mentor to the combined men’s and women’s program...Sloan (decathlon/heptathlon) is joined by associate coach Debra Farwell (throws) and assistant coaches Mark Macdonald (hurdles/relays), Ellannee Richardson (sprints/relays), Matt McGee (jumps) and cross country coach Tim Riley (distance)…volunteers include Caroline Austin (distance), Veronica Elseroad-Wall (hurdles), Oliver Henry (throws), and Emma Kertesz (distance).

WSU TRACK & FIELD REUNION/HONOR COACH SLOAN, MAY 16-18, 2014
All Washington State University track and field former student-athletes are invited to a commemorative reunion and celebration in honor of Head Coach Rick Sloan’s 40 years with the Cougars program. The Reunion and Celebration will be held in conjunction with WSU hosting the Pac-12 Track & Field Championships at the Mooberry Track Complex May 16-18, 2014. WSU HOSTS 2014 PAC-12 TRACK & FIELD OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
Washington State University hosts the 29th Annual Women’s and 84th Annual Men’s Pac-12 Conference Track and Field Championships at the Mooberry Track Complex in Pullman. The Combined Events Championships are Saturday and Sunday, May 10 and 11, while the individual events and team scoring continues the next weekend, May 17 and 18. More information about the conference meet can be found at wsucougars.com. The meet will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks on a tape-delayed basis the following week.
