PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University swimming team is No. 40 in the latest edition of the CollegeSwimming.com rankings.
CollegeSwimming.com assigns points to a school for its top-27 swims during a three-week period. The current rankings include the Cougars’ performance at the Hawkeye Invitational in Iowa City, Iowa, Dec. 6-8.
During that meet, Washington State’s quartet of Emma Johansson, Alison Mand, Haley Rose Love and Anne Kenney swam the 200 free relay in 1:31.66. The time was good enough for second place in the event and broke the school record (set in 2009) by three tenths of a second.
