PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State soccer won its third-straight match to open the 2013 season with a 1-0 nonconference victory over visiting Eastern Washington, Sunday.

The lone score came in the 19th minute when senior Micaela Castain notched her team-leading fourth goal of the season. The game-winner came off a corner kick from Castain that caromed off an Eastern Washington (0-4-0) defender and inside the near post.
