PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University men’s basketball will team up with the Pullman Lion’s Club to help serve at the Lentil Pancake Breakfast as part of the National Lentil Festival festivities, Saturday, Aug. 17 at Pullman’s Cougar Plaza. The men’s basketball team will help at the breakfast from 9-11 a.m., but the breakfast will begin at 8 a.m.
The breakfast consists of lentil pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, juice and coffee and costs $7 for those over 12 years old and $3 for children 5-11. Kids under 5 eat for free. Those in attendance at the breakfast will be able to listen to the Pullman Community Band.
Following the breakfast, the men’s basketball team will participate in the Lentil Parade, along with other WSU Athletics teams, at 11 a.m. The night before, Friday, Aug. 16, the Cougar men’s basketball team will be signing autographs at the corner of Spring Street and Lentil Lane from 8-8:30 p.m.
