PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State women’s basketball Pac-12 Conference slate has been announced but not finalized. A couple dates may change due to television selections with the final schedule expected to be announced in September.

The Cougars open conference play with a three-game homestand beginning with the University of Arizona and Arizona State University the first weekend of January. WSU will then renew its rivalry with the University of Washington with two games the following week. The Cougars will host the first matchup early in the week in their annual “Cougs Have Heart” game to support the American Heart Association. WSU will then head to Seattle for a weekend matchup with the Huskies.

During the third week of January, Washington State will again return to Pullman to host the University of Colorado and University of Utah. The game against the Colorado will be “Dads & Daughters Date Night” at Beasley Coliseum.

WSU will hit the road for four straight games over the next two weeks, heading to Oregon to face the University of Oregon and Oregon State University the final week of January. The following week, the Cougars will travel to Los Angeles to face USC and UCLA.

The second weekend of February will see the Cougars host the bay area schools in defending Pac-12 Conference champion Stanford University and Final Four participant University of California. The game against the Cardinal will be WSU’s annual “Cougs Wave Pink” in support of raising awareness and supporting the fight against breast cancer. The game against the Golden Bears will be the Cougars annual “National Girls & Women in Sports Day.”

In mid-Feburary, Washington State will make the return trip to face Utah and Colorado before hosting the Oregon schools at the end of the month. The Cougars will honor their three seniors prior to tipoff against the Ducks. WSU will close out the regular season on the road against California and Stanford the first weekend of March.

The Pac-12 Conference tournament will once again be held at KeyArena in Seattle March 6-9.
