SAN FRANCISCO - Fresh off its fourth NCAA postseason in five years, the Washington State women's soccer team is scheduled to make eight television appearances in 2013.
All-eight matches will be on the Pac-12 Networks, including three in Pullman. Seven of the eight appearances will come during Pac-12 play. The Cougars host UNLV. Sept. 13 at 2:30 p.m. in their only nonconference match on the Pac-12 Networks.
"The Pac-12 Networks gave great exposure to women's soccer in our conference last fall and 2013 will build on that," Cougar Head Coach Keidane McAlpine said. "Having the majority of our conference matches televised is very exciting. It is a great opportunity for our student body, fans and families to see our team in action."
During conference play, the Pac-12 Networks will air 40 matches, beginning with Washington State at Oregon, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. When the Cougars visit Los Angeles, fans can watch matches against UCLA, Oct. 4 at 4 p.m. and USC, Oct. 6 at 3 p.m.
The first of two Pac-12 televised home matches takes place when the Cougars entertain Utah, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. Washington State visits Arizona, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. and hosts Stanford, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. in televised matches.
The Cougars conclude their regular season schedule with a match against arch rival Washington, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. that will be carried by the Pac-12 Networks.
