Cougar Trio Named to Pac-12 All-Academic First Team

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Four Washington State student-athletes earn Pac-12 Conference All-Academic honors for 2013.

Redshirt-juniors Brett Jacobs and Adam Nelubowich and junior Collin Slaybaugh were named to the first team. Junior Jason Monda received a spot on the second team.

Slaybaugh, a catcher with a 4.00 GPA as a movement studies major, captured his second-straight first team honor. Jacobs is a first baseman with a 3.61 GPA and an accounting major. He picked up his second first team award to go along with his 2011 selection. He was not eligible last year when he utilized his redshirt season. Nelubowich, an outfielder with a 3.64 GPA in finance, garnered his first award.

Monda was named to the second team for the second-consecutive season. The outfielder/first baseman/pitcher is a zoology major with a 3.50 GPA.

Washington State Cougars Baseball
