COSIDA Academic All-America Release Get Acrobat Reader

McLEAN, Va. - Washington State junior catcher Collin Slaybaugh was named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-America Division I Baseball Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), Friday.

Slaybaugh, who boasts a 4.00 GPA as a movement studies major, earned his bachelor's degree earlier this month.

In addition to his academic achievements, Slaybaugh was honorable mention All-Pac-12. He led the Cougars in batting average (.317), runs (32) and stolen bases (12). He played in 48 games for Washington State as a catcher and outfielder. His stolen bases currently rank eighth in the Pac-12. He threw out 39 percent of runners attempting to steal.
