Welcome to WSU Cougar Athletic Training
Who We Are
We are a dedicated team comprised of 17 Licensed Athletic Trainers (12 full-time staff and six interns), five Team Physicians, a Physical Therapist, a Registered Dietitian, a Psychologist and an Athletic Training Services Coordinator. Our staff is here to help student-athletes prevent, treat and recover from injuries while competing for WSU. Our Athletic Trainers interact with student-athletes on a daily basis to provide care, treatment and rehabilitation. Our ATCs possess diverse backgrounds in sports medicine and orthopedic injuries, and have an understanding of what it takes to compete at the highest level of collegiate sports. Our dedicated Team Physicians bring expert care, advice and services to all WSU student-athletes.

The Athletic Training Room also is a place of learning. The Athletic Training Program, offered through the College of Education, allows more than 50 students the opportunity to learn how to give quality care to highly competitive athletes while working alongside the full-time Certified Athletic Trainers with enthusiasm, which creates a positive environment for the Athletic Training Room.
What We Do
We pride ourselves in providing excellent student-athlete healthcare, injury prevention and rehabilitation in a professional, ethical, and individualized manner.
