WSU CAREER
2000...Relay team member breaking the school record in the 200 freestyle relay at the Pac-10 Championships with a time of 1:34.82...swam the second fastest 200 IM in Cougar history with a time of 2:06.87...swam a time of 4:31.24 in the 400 IM which ranks third in school history...also ranks sixth all-time for WSU in the 100 breaststroke.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Earned four varsity letters in swimming at Bishop Manogue High School...as a freshman finished second in the 100 backstroke and third in the 200 IM at state championships...sophomore year took first in the 200 IM and second in the 100 butterfly at state...team finished third in state during junior season...first in 100 butterfly and second in 200 IM...competed for the Reno Aquatic Club under coach Dave Hoover...turned in seven junior national cuts...holds team long course meter records in 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 200 IM.

Born February 3, 1981 in Reno, Nevada to parents Mike and Sue Carano...younger brother Bryan...National Honor Society member...3.8 grade-point average as a prep...first in her family to compete in intercollegiate athletics...looking to pursue a degree in elementary education at WSU.
