A look at Jadine Louw...
A welcome addition to help carry on the South African tradition of excellence in Cougar Swimming. She adds great strength to the team's middle-distance events, and depth in the distance and individual medley races.

CLUB CAREER
Attended D.F. Malan High School in Welgemoed, South Africa...coached by Karoly von Toros, South African National Swimming Coach...won the 2001 South African National Championship for the 17-18 year old age group in the 50, 100, 400 and 800-meter freestyle events...runner up in the 200-meter freestyle and 400-meter individual medley at the same meet...bronze medallist in the 100-meter freestyle and fourth-place finisher in the 200-meter freestyle at the 2001 South African Open Championships.

Born June 8, 1982 in Welgemoed, South Africa to parents Koos and Claudine Louw...brothers Ulger, Ruald and Jiaan...competed in fresh water life saving, where she earned her national colors...also participated in biathlon and cross country...enjoys horseback riding...interested in studying speech and hearing sciences at WSU.
