JUNIOR CAREER: Took part in New Zealand's Senior Development Squad in 1996... placed 10th at the New Zealand Women's Championship in 1997 and won the HR Buchanan Trophy... in 1998, captured the New Zealand Under 16 Championship and played on the Auckland Senior Team...took fourth at the New Zealand Under 19 Championships and won the Auckland Secondary Schools championship in 1999...was a member of the New Zealand Titleist Academy and Junior Tasman Cup Team in 1999...won her second HR Buchanan Trophy and placed fourth in the New Zealand Age Group Championships in 2000.

WSU CAREER:

Freshman (2000-2001): Made collegiate and American debut at Inland Collegiate Challenge in March... season-best round of 76 came at the Pioneer/Bruin Classic... tied for 16th at the Inland Empire Collegiate... played in eight events after joining the team in January.

Sophomore (Fall 2001): Member of squad that fired team records for single round score (297) and overall team score (898) at the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic, Sept. 11.

PERSONAL: Born July 29, 1982 in Auckland, New Zealand... parents Michael and Brenda Bratkowski... joins Katherine Costain (1993-94) and Bindi Thomas (1996-97), former WSU tennis players, Olympian long jumper Chantal Brunner, and Cougar decathlete Rodney Zuyderwyk in the New Zealand-to-Pullman pipeline.
