WILSON'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER

Earned three varsity letters each in football and track at Jefferson High...a defensive end for coach Hank Johnson...SOPHOMORE year started at defensive tackle and earned All-Central City second team honors...as a JUNIOR made 36 tackles, including nine sacks and one for a safety...returned a fumble 57 yards for a touchdown...all-league first team and all-city second team...during SENIOR year made 72 tackles, with 12 sacks...again had one safety...received five votes in the Best in the West survey by the Long Beach Press-Telegram...honored by Super Prep Magazine on their All-Far West team and a All-West Region selection by Blue Chip Magazine...named to the All-Los Angeles team by the LA Times...also an All-Central City first team and all-league first team pick...named defensive MVP for both the league and conference.

Freshman (1995-96): Did not play football.

Sophomore (1996-97): Redshirt season...earned defensive scout team honors for work weeks of Colorado and Washington games.

RS-Sophomore (1997-98): Injured knee during fall camp...did not have surgery until December...appeared in one game (Boise State), recording one tackle.

RS-Junior (1998-99): V-letter...saw limited action in five games...no tackles.

RS-Senior (1999-00): Will serve as a student assistant after continued problems with a shoulder injury forced him not to play final year.
