COLLINS' HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Coached by Bob Johnson at Mission Viejo High School...a three-year letterman for the Diablos, playing linebacker, tight end, and fullback...as a SOPHOMORE earned first team All-State Underclass honors after helping the Diablos to a 14-0 record and the Division II CIF title...team captured the South Coast League crown...as a JUNIOR earned league's Defensive Player of the Year and first team All-State Underclass honors after totaling 113 tackles...tabbed first team All-County and first team All-CIF...Diablos went undefeated again, winning their second straight Division II and South Coast League titles...SENIOR year was named Division II co-Defensive Player of the Year and Orange County Defensive Player of the Year...after winning third straight South Coast League title, Mission Viejo was defeated in the Division II finals, snapping an Orange County record 41-game winning streak... received honorable mention in the Long Beach Press Telegram's Best in the West football poll...rated the No. 54 linebacker nationally by TheInsiders.com.

• played blocking back in WSU's two-back set and some action at linebacker;
• Against Idaho, stepped into the backfield and caught one 27-yard pass
• Recovered a fumble and made four tackles replacing Will Derting at MLB...at Oregon State, made two solo tackles, caught two passes (24 yards) and rushed once (3 yards)

SOPHOMORE (2005-06): V-Letter...Games - 11...Starts - 0...earned the following weekly team awards: Assassin - Grambling State; Ironman - UCLA, Washington. Special Teams: Punt, KO, KO Return, Hands, PAT/FG:
