RILEY'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER

Sophomore (1996-97): Named to the All-Central Valley conference first team after starting all 11 games...team's defensive back of the year...recorded 53 tackles, including 40 primary and one TFL...made seven interceptions, which were returned 140 yards...two interception returns for touchdowns....had six pass deflections...All-State selection.

RILEY'S WSU CAREER

Junior (1997-98): Redshirt season...earned the defensive scout team award during Arizona work week.

RS-Junior (1998-99): V-letter...started WSU's first 10 games before having to come off the bench against Washington after being ill the week of the game...finished the season with 66 tackles to rank fourth...had 48 primary stops...his eight TFL equaled second most among the Cougars...also had two sacks (-17 yards), both at Boise State...also returned a fumble 37 yards and had four TFL against the Broncos...had at least two tackles in every game...in the first two games, he had 17 tackles, including a season-high nine at BSU...his first interception, returned 15 yards, came at home against Idaho, while his second was returned 14 yards against Washington...earned the following game awards: Defensive Back - Illinois, Arizona; Defensive Pursuit - Illinois; Cougar Claw - BSU; Pac-10 Defense - Arizona.
