Coached by Bill Redell, earning two varsity letters as a quarterback, free safety, and handled kicking and punting duties as well...earned two varsity letters in track..competed in the 100 meters, triple jump and long jump... JUNIOR year named to all-league football team...track team captain...during SENIOR year shared Co-MVP Mission League honors with Justin Fargas, now a running back at Michigan...first team Div. III All-CIF selection...captained both football and track squads...named All-L.A. Times and All-Daily News, and received recognition as a Prep Star Honorable Mention All-American...1998 Powerade Scholar Athlete of the Year.
