EVANS' WSU CAREER
SENIOR (2008):
Earned the fourth varsity letter of his career after appearing in 10 of WSU's 13 games...started seven games...registered 25 tackles on the season (18 solo)...had a season-high six tackles (all solo) against Hawaii (Nov. 29) in WSU's season-finale...one tackle-for-loss came against Hawai'i...recorded three pass break-ups.

JUNIOR (2007): Earned a varsity letter after starting each of WSU's 12 games at the sam linebacker position...was WSU's fourth-leading tackler with 84 stops on the season...finished second on the team in tackles-for-loss with 10.5...also had 1.5 sacks, an interception, two pass break-ups and a fumble recovery on the season...set a school record with 6.5 tackles-for-loss against Oregon State...set a career high with 12 tackles against California and then bested the mark against Oregon State with 13 tackles...recorded eight tackles each against Arizona, UCLA, Stanford and Washington.

SOPHOMORE (2006): Earned a varsity letter after playing in each of WSU's 12 games...while not listed as a starter, served a starting role as a fourth linebacker when WSU used a 3-4 defense...registered 44 tackles (24 solo)...made 26 tackles over the final five games of the season...racked up six tackles in three consecutive games against UCLA, Arizona and Arizona State...hauled in first career interception against Oregon...had six tackles-for-loss and two sacks...also had three pass break-ups...served on WSU's kickoff and kickoff return special teams units.

FRESHMAN (2005): Earned a varsity letter after playing in each of WSU's 11 games...earned the team's weekly Assassin Award for play against Nevada and UCLA...recorded 18 tackles as a member of several of WSU's special teams units...played on WSU's punt, punt return, kickoff and kickoff return special teams units...saw some linebacker action, especially early in the season...had a season-high four tackles against Grambling State, including two tackles-for-loss and one sack...had three tackles each against Nevada, UCLA and USC...one of nine true freshman to see varsity action.

EVANS' HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Coached by Tom O'Kelly at Northwood High School...earned 10 varsity letters: four in football, four in basketball and two in track and field...as a FRESHMAN (2001-02) contributed to the varsity football team, rushing for 460 yards...earned second-team all-district...SOPHOMORE (2002-03) season limited by broken bone in foot...as a JUNIOR (2003-04) rushed for over 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns, while also racking up 88 tackles and seven interceptions on defense...first-team all-district on offense and defense...first-team all-state on defense...first-team All-Central Louisiana...SENIOR (2004-05) season rushed for 1,500 yards and 22 touchdowns...scored on eight two-point conversions...on defensive recorded 125 tackles...repeat first-team all-district selection on both sides of the ball...selected first-team all-state on defense...played quarterback, running back, wide receiver and free safety during his four years with the Gators...also a standout on the hardwood, earning all-district honors as a freshman, sophomore, and junior, and all-state honors as a junior...served as team captain for football and basketball as a senior.
