Graduated from Kentlake High 2002...standout in both football and basketball...football coach Mark Torgerson...JUNIOR campaign was named second team All-South Puget Sound League as a defensive back and All-Area by the South County Journal...was part of the state championship Falcon 4x100 relay team...as a SENIOR in his first full year as a starter, led the league with 20 yards per reception, finishing with 34 catches...also had three interceptions and was the league's player of the year on defense...also a punter (38.8 average) and kicker (25 PATs, two field goals)...team finished 4-5 overall and 3-5 in the South Puget Sound League North race...named to the Associated Press All-State 4-A honorable mention team as a wide receiver...the #18 prospect in the Northwest by Super Prep Magazine...Tacoma News Tribune All-State first team pick and TNT's all-area second team selection...Seattle Times All-State first team pick on defense...Seattle Times Red Chip prospect...Washington Prep Football Report All-State choice...all-league first team wide receiver and defensive back and league's defensive back of the year.

FRESHMAN (2002-2003): Redshirt season...earned offensive scout of the week honors prior to Nevada opener.
RS-FRESHMAN (2003-04): V-Letter...Games - 12...Starts - 1...earned the following weekly team awards: Most Disciplined Offense - Colorado, Offensive Back - Stanford...earned Rivals.com Freshman All-America honorable mention...named to The Sporting News' Pac-10 All-Freshman teamwuietly developed into one of WSU's leading receivers, making at least one catch in each of the Cougars' first nine games...didn't have a catch against UCLA and ASU, but had two at Washington before suffering an ACL tear of the left knee...surgery Dec. 12 forced him to miss the Holiday Bowl...best game five receptions at Stanford for 97 yards and two touchdowns...had four receptions against New Mexico and Arizona...started against Oregon State and made three catches for 64 yards.
RS-SOPHOMORE (2004-05): V-letter...Games - 11...Starts - 10...earned a starting spot in fall camp...after not catching a pass at Arizona, came back against Oregon with five receptions for a career-high 128 yards...had three catches the next week against Stanford, then just one at Oregon State and two against USC...played sparingly at UCLA and ASU after suffering a groin strain...closed out the season with three receptions for 73 yards in WSU's Apple Cup win over Washington.
RS-JUNIOR (2005-06): V-Letter...Games - 10...Starts - 6. Special Teams: Onside KO, Hands...long-time recovery from the 2003 knee surgery continued to limit practice time and game action...started the first four games, then sidelined with a hip flexor injury that forced him out of Stanford game...played in the next four games, then started the final two contests against Oregon and Washington...caught only TD pass at California...caught two passes in four games and finished season with 12 receptions.
