Attended Sandpoint High, where he was coached by Satini Puailoa...a tailback in football, centerfielder in baseball and a sprinter on the track team...SOPHOMORE year batted .380 ... as a strong safety was second on team in tackles and had two interceptions, both which were returned for touchdowns ... ran for a school record 1,900 yards, 19 touchdowns JUNIOR year ... SENIOR year rushed for 2,169 yards and scored 27 touchdowns...had three games of 300 yards or more...averaged 10.0 per carry ... named to the All-Inland Empire League, All-North Idaho and All-State teams...nominated for Northwest Male Athlete of the Year recognition...Lo-Back of the Year in the IEL...selected a Northwest Nugget by the Tacoma News Tribune.

  • RS-Sophomore (1999-00): V-letter...played in 11 games, missing WSU's contest with Louisiana...hampered by a hamstring pull early in he year and then a shoulder sprain later in the season that forced him to miss the Louisiana game...had just one rushing attempt over the final six games...best game seven carries for 16 yards against Idaho.
