Graduated from Arroyo Grande High 2002...also lettered in track...football coach Jon Huss...JUNIOR year played tackle, center and guard...earned All-Northern League honors...SENIOR year saw action at both center and guard...named lineman of the year in the Northern League and CIF Division IV offensive lineman of the year...All-Southern Section CIF offensive lineman...Los Angeles Times most valuable offensive lineman for Coastal Region.

MIHLHAUSER'S WSU CAREER

FRESHMAN (2002-03): V-letter...Games - 10...Starts - 1...pressed into service after three games because of injuries to several offensive linemen...first action against Montana State...made only start at Stanford...also saw action with PAT and field goal units.

SOPHOMORE (2003-04): V-letter...Games - 13...Starts - 9...earned the following weekly team awards: Offensive Lineman - Arizona...started the Idaho game at right guard for Billy Knotts...played but did not start at Notre Dame, Colorado, New Mexico and Oregon...took over for the injured Mike Shelford at center for four games, Arizona through USC, then shifted to right guard, where he started the final three regular season games and the Holiday Bowl win over Texas.

JUNIOR (2004-05): V-letter...Games - 11...Starts - 11...earned the following weekly team awards: Cougar Claw Offense - UCLA. Special Teams: Backup FG/PAT Center...received All-Pacific-10 Conference academic honorable mention recognition...took over starting duties at center in fall camp...the line did not allow any sacks against both Oregon and Idaho and just one at UCLA.
