PENDON'S WSU CAREER
FRESHMAN (2005):
Graduated from high school in January 2005 and began classes at WSU that same month...participated in winter conditioning...surgery on left knee in January 2005...spent rest of spring rehabbing...named to Pac-10 All-Freshman team honorable mention...as starting libero, averaged 4.55 digs per game which was sixth-best in Pac-10...set school record with 35 digs in the ASU match...had tied school record with 34 digs in 3-1 earlier season win over ASU...double-figure digs in 28 of WSU's 31 matches...20 or more digs 11 times...season total of 514 digs is WSU single-season record...landed three aces at Portland...started at left-side against Oregon and OSU Nov. 17-18 and tagged 34 kills (3.77 kpg)...due to knee condition can only play at OH sparingly.

PENDON'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER:
Earned five varsity letters at Spanaway Lake High...three in volleyball and two in track...all with coach Shirley Baker...as a SOPHOMORE, named school's athlete of the month for September...Sentinels volleyball team finished ninth at state 4A tournament...selected all-tournament team in the South Puget Sound League...named team MVP...during spring, finished ninth at state track meet in the 400m dash with time of 57.6...JUNIOR year selected as Athlete of the Year by the Tacoma News Tribune...named to volleyball all-area team by Seattle P.I. newspaper...co-MVP for SPSL volleyball...team finished with a 12-0 record in league, third in state...selected to state all-tournament team...SENIOR year team finished fifth in state...received MVP of the SPSL...repeated as Tacoma News Tribune Athlete of the Year...team MVP...also team most inspirational awards...team captain...during prep career also played on the Puget Sound Volleyball Club Team for coaches Jan Kirk and Kelly Kirk...member of U-18 team as a 16-year-old...named to all-tournament team at U-17 as team placed fifth at national championships...named Seattle Post Intelligencer "All-Star Athlete" in 2005.
