FRESHMAN (2000-01): Starting pitched two years for coach Rick Baumann's club...in his first season opponents hit just .212 off him...posted a 2.35 ERA while throwing 72.2 innings and striking out 68 batters.

SOPHOMORE (2001-02): Threw 73.2 innings while posting a 3.54 ERA...had 76 strikeouts and opponents hit just .233 off him.
