GENERAL: Earned three varsity letters for coach Ed Paulter…SOPHOMORE: Named to the all-Metro League honorable mention team as a pitcher…summer baseball team (Seattle Baseball Club) won Micky Mantle State title…was 7-1 on the mound in summer ball…JUNIOR: All-Metro League 2nd team as a pitcher…team won district and regional championships…placed fourth at state…pitched both district and regional championship games, including an 11 inning complete game in the regional against Mt. Rainier... JUNIOR (1998-99): Transferred from Edmonds CC...enrolled in August… tied for the team lead with 26 appearances and led the Cougs with total relief appearances… his six wins led the Cougar pitching staff… made his Cougar debut Feb. 14 at NMSU and made it memorable with a phenomenal outing… allowed only one hit and one walk while throwing four shutout innings… picked up the win in that game… was hit in the calf in that game by a line drive, but did not miss any of the Cougs’ next games… improved his record to 2-0 against San Jose State on Feb. 27… did not allow an earned run in five consecutive appearances and six and a third innings from Mar. 7-24… picked up his sixth win of the year at home against Washington on May 2… finished his only game of the year in the last game of 1999 at UW, allowing one hit in the ninth inning to seal a 17-13 WSU victory… played summer ball in Lethbridge, Alberta with WSU teammate Les McTavish… was 6-1 with a 1.02 ERA for the Lethebridge Bulls… named first-team, all-league… monthly totals: February 5.1i/2-0/0.00, March 11.0i/3-1/2.45., April 11.0i/0-3/15.55, May 4.0i/1-1/11.25... pitching against league opponents: ARIZ 3.1i/0-1/13.50, ASU 0.2i/0-0/81.00, CAL 1.0i/0-0/9.00, OSU 3.2i/1-1/4.91, STAN 0.0i/0-1/99.00, UCLA 1.1i/0-0/13.50, USC 3.1i/1-0/2.70, Washington 2.0i/1-0/9.00.
