WSU CAREER

Senior (2011-12) – Won the 100 back in the second USC dual with a time of 58.42…championed the 100 back against Utah with a time of 2:04.82…against Northern Arizona, won the 200 back...finished the 200 back in 2:00.98, which was good enough for sixth on Washington State’s all-time list...second place in the 100 back and first in the 200 back in the quadruple dual meet with Rice, San Diego State, TCU, and UC San Diego…second in the 200 back against Oregon State, and again the next meet against Idaho…at the Pac-12 Championships, tabbed a mark of 56.09 in the 100 back, which at the time was good enough for fifth-best on the Cougar all-time list.

Junior (2010-11) – Moved to third on the WSU all-time list in the 200 back…jumped to ninth in the 400 IM…contributed 30 points at the Pacific Invitational, highlighted by a fourth place finish in the 200 backstroke…qualified for the finals in four events at Princeton highlighted by sixth place finish in the 200 back…set four lifetime bests at the Pac-10 Championships…took 26th in the 400 IM, 28th in the 100 back and 29th in the 200 back.

Sophomore (2009-10) – Moved up to eighth place on the Cougar all-time top-10 list in the 200 back (2:03.08)…also finished with season best times in the 100 back (58.97) and 200 IM (2:10.24)…won the 200 back in meet against Idaho…helped WSU defeat the Redhawks of Seattle by finishing third in the 200 back and fourth in the 100 back.

Freshman (2008-09) – Finished 34th overall at the Pacific-10 Championship in the 200 back…placed 35th overall in the 100 back (58.39) and 37th overall in the 400 IM (4:37.41)…placed sixth in the “D” Final (30th overall) in the 200 back (2:07.47) at the Texas Invitational…scored at the Pacific Invitational with a fourth place finish in the 200 back (2:09.31), a 13th place finish in the 400 IM (4:43.51) and a 14th place finish in the 100 back (1:01.68).

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB CAREER

Earned three varsity letters under  high school coach Suzie Miller…was a Washington state championship finalist in the 100 backstroke freshman, sophomore and junior seasons…also was a finalist in the 200 IM sophomore and junior years…competed for the Bellevue Club swim team for coaches Klaas Schenk and Andy Pym…was an NCSA Junior National qualifier and a finalist in the Western Senior Sectionals.

PERSONAL

Born in Princeton, N.J…father Paul is an FBI supervisory special agent…mother Karen is a senior systems analyst...brother Alex swims for Arizona State.
