WSU CAREER. JUNIOR (2009-10): Indoor - Redshirt season...Outdoor - Redshirt season.

SOPHOMORE (2008-09): Indoor - Equaled PR pole vault height of 3.90m/12-9 1/2i twice during season - at Vandal indoor and at Vandal Collegiate meets in Moscow...finished 12th at MPSF Championships (3.70m/12-1 1/2i)...Outdoor - Won WSU-UW Dual meet with improved NCAA RQ leap of 3.86m/12-8...reached a PR height and improved NCAA RQ mark of 3.97m/13-0 1/4 to tie for ninth place at Pac-10 Championships (5/17/09, Eugene)...that height is fifth-best in WSU history...tied for 12th at NCAA West Regional with clearance of 3.91m/12-10.

FRESHMAN (2007-08): Indoor - Reached a season-best pole vault height of 12-2 1/2i (3.72m) at the Husky Classic (2/16/08, Seattle)...tied for 16th at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships with a mark of 12-1 1/4 (3.69m)...Outdoor - Cleared pole vault bar at a height of 12-1 1/2 (3.70m) twice during season with the first time a WSU vs. Washington Dual meet.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned six letters at W.F. West High...two as a left side hitter in volleyball for coach Paula Bridgewater...four varsity letters for track coach Mike Aust... junior and senior years captained track team...placed fourth in pole vault at district meet as freshman and then district champion and placed third at state sophomore year...junior season won pole vault title at Shelton Shaner Invite, setting meet record of 11-9...repeated as district champ...finished third in the pole vault (11-9) at the 2006 state 3A championship meet behind current Cougar vaulter, Kendall Mays...selected for Pac-9 League all-area athletes award...junior year cleared 12-0 in pole vault at the Golden West meet...senior season won the Shelton vaulters award...set W.F. West Classic meet pole vault record...won third district title...finished second at 2007 state 2A meet with clearance at 11-9...competed in club gymnastics for 11 years, advancing to level ten with wins at league, state and placed at sub-national meet.

PERSONAL. Born in October 1989...father John Huestis is an engineer who played football at the University of Montana...mother Nadine Ellis is a nurse who was a gymnast at the U. of Montana...younger brothers Christian and Parker...younger sisters Sierra and Tiffany...majoring in marketing at WSU.
