COUGARS HOME TO HOST NO. 4 HUSKIES: The Washington State volleyball team, 15-12 on the season, 3-10 in Pacific-10 Conference competition, is home in Bohler Gym this week to host the No. 4 Washington Huskies volleyball team (21-3, 11-2)...Dawgs are on a nine-match win streak with their last losses coming at No. 3 UCLA and at No. 5 USC, Sept. 28 & 29...Husky head coach Jim McLaughlin will be looking for his 400th career coaching win...UW, the defending national champion, is currently tied for second place in the Pac-10 with UCLA while WSU is tied for seventh in the conference with Arizona State.

COUGAR COACHING STAFF: Brian Heffernan returns for his third season at WSU (29-60)...assistant coaches are Jody Garry (third year) and Ken Ko (second year)...Kirby Garry is the coordinator of volleyball operations.

WATCH COACH HEFFERNAN: Every Tuesday afternoon during the volleyball season, beginning at 1:20 p.m. PT, WSU Head Coach Brian Heffernan is part of the teleconference with a LIVE video broadcast on the WSU internet site of www.wsucougars.com.

COUGAR VOLLEYBALL WEBCASTS: All remaining matches played at Bohler Gym this season will be available for live streaming webcasts at www.wsucougars.com...a subscription to All-Access is required...webcasts will begin five minutes before first serve.

LAST WEEK: The Cougars split a pair of matches on the road...WSU fell to No. 24 Oregon in three (34-32, 30-12, 30-22) Thursday night at Eugene, and went on to sweep Oregon State Friday night in Corvallis (31-29, 30-22, 30-26)...Adetokunbo Faleti led the Cougs with 25 kills while Brittany Johnson added 18 kills and 8 blocks...Kelly Hyder had 31 digs, Corina Beyer had 77 assists, and Cassie Robbins had 9 blocks...this was the second time this season the Cougs defeated Oregon State...WSU has now won more Pac-10 matches on the road (Arizona, Oregon State) than at home (Oregon State).
