WSU VOLLEYBALL RETURNS TO BOHLER FOR FRIDAY, SUNDAY MATCHES
The Washington State University volleyball team (12-14 overall, 4-12 Pac-12) plays at home in Bohler Gym during the campus Dad's Weekend celebrations...Cougars host No. 5 California (23-4, 13-4) Friday, Nov. 11 in a 7 p.m. match...for the second straight weekend, WSU will not play Saturday but will host No. 3 Stanford (19-4, 13-4) Sunday, Nov. 13 in a 12:30 p.m. match...WSU volleyball program will celebrate senior Meagan Ganzer's accomplishments prior to the Sunday match first serve. ...WSU volleyball program will celebrate senior Meagan Ganzer's accomplishments prior to the Sunday match first serve.

COUGAR COACHING STAFF
First year Head Coach Jen Stinson Greeny (12-14 at WSU, 124-38 in 5-year career) is no stranger to Washington State volleyball...an outstanding student and athlete at WSU, Greeny was an All-Pac-10 player and member of three NCAA teams including the 1996 Elite Eight team...also an assistant coach for three more NCAA appearances including the 2002 Elite Eight team...had highly successful NAIA coaching career at Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) with four-year record of 112-24 (.824)...assistant coaches Pat Stangle (former head coach at Wyoming, former asst. coach at Washington) and Burdette Greeny (former asst. coach at LCSC)...Katie Hinrichs, coordinator of operations (former player at LCSC)...volunteer coach Shannon Wyckoff Hunt was the first WSU player to reach 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career.

REBUILDING THE COUGAR VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM
** Overall record of 12-14 = six more wins than in all of 2010 season
** Pac-12 record of 4-12 = four more wins than in 2010 season
** WSU has losses to nationally-ranked opponents - California (No. 4), UCLA (No. 1& 6), Stanford (No. 7), USC (No. 4 &13), Oregon (No. 15 and No. 18) Or to teams also receiving votes = Texas A&M, Arizona
** 2011 Cougars = 1 senior, four returning letterwinners, 11 newcomers, only one player on 2011 team recruited by Greeny
** Senior Meagan Ganzer leads Pac-12/ 6th nationally with 4.79 kills per set and leads Pac-12 with 5.32 points per set/6th nationally.

GANZER REACHES MILESTONE
Outside hitter Meagan Ganzer (Black Diamond, Wash.), became the 11th Cougar to score 1,000 kills in a career 8/27 at Seattle U...named MVP for the Seattle U Fall Volley, Nike Portland Invite and Nike Cougar Challenge...Ganzer's 1,405 kills moves her in fourth place in WSU all-time records, ahead of her coach, Jen Stinson Greeny, who tallied 1,006 kills in her 1995-98 career, and volunteer coach Shannon Wyckoff Hunt's 1,051 kills 1994-97...Ganzer has 51 solo blocks for ninth on the WSU career list.
