TEMPE, Ariz. - Washington State All-American Anastasia Kostina proves she can compete with the nations as she sits in the top 20 after completing the second round of the AS/PING Invitational, held at the par-72, 6,230 yard Karsten Golf Course, April 1.

After two days of tough competition, Kostina has fired a combined total of 149 (+5), putting her into a six-way tie for 19th. The Nakhabino, Russia native, fired a second round score of 77, and sits just four shots out of the top 10. Clawing her way up the charts is freshman Haley Parsons, who after shooting a career low 76 (+4) on the day moved her 17 spots up the charts to sit in a tie for 50th. This marks just the second collegiate tournament for the Spokane, Wash. native.
