Dustin White Takes Over First For Career Top 10 Finishes

RENO, Nev. - Dustin White finished in fifth place at the Wolf Pack Classic at the Par 72, 7,359 yard Genoa Lakes Gold Club and recorded his record setting 15th career Top 10 finish.

With Tuesday's Top 10 finish, White takes over first place on the career Top 10 finishes list at 15, surpassing the previous record of 14 by Jon Reehoorn. White, a native of Pueblo West, Colo., used an even par final round for his third consecutive Top 5 finish out of three tournaments completed in the fall. Monday, White fired rounds of 71 and 67 to put him in a tie for third at the end of the day.

The best final round score for the Cougars belonged to Isaac Woods who jumped up 21 spots into a tie for 29th with a 2-under 70. The tournament winner was Kurt Kowaluk of Wyoming who had his third consecutive round under 70 to win the 2002 Wolf Pack Classic.

The Cougars as a team finished in fourth place out of fifteen schools and shot an identical score of 294 in the final round as they did in the first round.

Ryan Ressa finished the tournament in a tie for 27th, missing another Top 25 finish by just one stroke. Ryan Camp finished in a tie for 37th, and Ben Bryson finished tied for 57th to round out the Cougar contingent.
