Tasha Browner, Donna Bell Named To NGCA All-Scholar Team

PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State's Tasha Browner and Donna Bell were named to the 2001-02 National Golf Coaches Association Division I All-Scholar Team the NGCA announced, July 9.

Browner, a two-time Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic first team pick, garnered a selection to the team for the third consecutive year. Browner, who ended her WSU career with a school record 12 top-10 finishes, carried a 3.78 GPA in psychology. Incoming senior Bell, who recorded a 3.47 GPA in accounting, earned her second consecutive selection to the team.

The criteria for selection to the All-Scholar Team includes a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 (3.40 for junior and seniors) and student-athletes must have competed in at least 66 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
