PULLMAN, Wash. - Lincoln Walden-Schultz, Washington State's projected starter at center for Saturday's season-opening game with the Utah Utes, has been cleared to play, according to WSU head coach Mike Price.

Price had indicated Thursday the senior center's academic status would not be known until Friday. Friday Walden-Schulz, Long Beach, Calif., was cleared to compete in WSU's home opener.
