FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Washington State swimming completed the 2012-13 season Saturday with a ninth place finish at Pac-12 Championships, earning a total of 189 points.

WSU started off the preliminary heats with the 200 back. Freshman Loree Olson and Senior Shelbi Luchini both qualified for the `C' final placing 20th and 22nd, respectively. A pair of freshmen, Presley Wetterstrom and Frederikke Hall, qualified for the 200 breaststroke final with season best times of 2:16.92 and 2:17.25.

In the finals, Olson and Luchini finished 20th and 22nd overall in the 200 back with times of 1:59.09 and 1:59.50. Luchini achieve a personal best time for the season and Olson's time earned her an NCAA `B' standard time. In the 200 breaststroke final, Hall and Wetterstrom finished 20th and 23rd overall, each earning season best times of 2:16.08 and 2:17.57.

The final event of the competition was the 400 free relay. The WSU `A' relay comprised of Nicole Proulx, Emma Johansson, Alison Mand, and Kelly Tannhauser finished seventh overall with a season best time of 3:23.55.

Stanford was named Pac-12 Champions with 1439.5 points followed by USC in a close second earning 1418.5 points. Cal rounds out the top three finishing with 1333.5 points.
