What's Happening This Week: The Washington State men's golf team travels to Glendale, Calif. For the 2003 Pac-10 Championships at the Par 72, 6,736 yard Oakmont Country Club...First round play begins April 28 at 7:30 a.m. from the first and tenth tees...April 29 and 30 play also begins at 7:30 a.m. from the first and 10th tees.

Field: The 10-team field will consist of Stanford, Oregon, Oregon State, CAL, UCLA, USC, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, and Washington State.

Rankings: As of the final rankings released by the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index (Tuesday, April 22) before the Pac-10 Championships, the teams headed for play are in this national ranking order: Arizona (6), UCLA (11), Arizona State (16), Washington (20), USC (26), Cal (38), Oregon (46), Stanford (72), Oregon State (74), and Washington State (83).

Last Year At The Pac-10 Championships: Washington State finished eighth overall as the Cougars fell just four strokes short of Arizona for seventh position...Than Sophomore Ryan Camp tied for 40th at 301 (+13) while fellow sophomore Isaac Woods finished 42nd with a 302 total (+14) and than Junior Dustin White tied for 43rd at 303 (+15).

What Happened Last Tournament: Led by the eighth place effort by Ryan Ressa, the Washington State men's golf team finished in eighth place at the US. Intercollegiate at the Par 72, 6,786 yard Stanford Golf Course at Stanford, Calif....Ressa shot a final round score of one-over 72 for a three round total of 210, the lowest three-round tournament score of his career...Isaac Woods continued his good play, finishing in a tie for 15th, and averaging even par for the tournament...Ryan Camp just missed a Top 25 finish, ending up in a tie for 28th, followed by Dustin White at a tie for 74th, and Chad Carlson at a tie for 85th...the Cougars moved up one spot from their ninth place position after round two, finishing in eighth in the field of 16, and ahead of Pac-10 rival California.

Marking the Scorecard: WSU ranks 83rd as a team according to the Golfweek/Sagarin performance index...Cougars are ranked 83rd in the Div. I head-to-head rankings on Golfstat.com...the Cougar are ranked 4th in the nation in total short game at .569 according to Golfstat.com.

White Hot: Dustin White ranks 268th in the nation according to the Golfweek/Sagarin performance index... White was selected as one of the Top 50 male players to watch during the 2002-03 season by GolfWorld magazine in its Sept. 6 issue...
