2011-12 Men's Basketball Schedule

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.- Washington State University men's basketball can be seen on national television a minimum of seven times this season, Pac-12 Conference commissioner Larry Scott announced Friday along with the Pac-12 men's basketball television schedule.

Third-year head coach Ken Boneand the Cougars make their season debut on national television on ESPN as part of the ESPN's College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon, Monday, Nov. 14 at Gonzaga. WSU will appear on the ESPN family of networks at least two more times in the nonconference season while in Anaheim, Calif., for the 76 Classic. Washington State's tournament-opener against Oklahoma (Nov. 24) can be seen on ESPN2, while its second game against either New Mexico or Santa Clara (Nov. 25) will be shown on either ESPN2 or ESPNU. Depending on the first two outcomes, the Cougars can possibly be seen on ESPNU or ESPN2 for their final game of the tournament.

At least four of the Cougars' Pac-12 Conference games will be nationally televised. WSU makes its Pac-12 television debut on FSN when it travels to Boulder, Colo., to face Colorado Saturday, Jan. 7. Other road games at Washington (Jan. 15) and Arizona (Jan. 26) will also be televised live on FSN, as well as the matchup against the Wildcats in Pullman (Feb. 16).

The Cougars may have the chance to play in the national spotlight three more times on the road. WSU's Feb. 9 contest at Oregon State and March 1 matchup at UCLA could be picked up by FSN, while either FSN or CBS have the option to air the March 3 Pac-12 finale at USC.

The first 10 games of the Pac-12 Men's Basketball Tournament, which takes place at Staples Center March 7-10, will be shown on FSN, while the championship game will air on CBS.

The Cougars will have the opportunity to appear in additional televised games. The games will be added through institutional telecasts, which will be announced at a later date.
